The Global Food Protection Institute met in Fairfax, VA, USA on 24th September to discuss Preventive Controls and Allergen Management in the Manufacturing Environment. One of the main topics covered at the symposium was threshold levels, or reference doses, an issue that is being hotly debated internationally and that we have covered in previous bulletins.
