We have been alerted by Merchant Gourmet that they are recalling their Red and White Quinoa from sale because it contains barley (gluten) and wheat (gluten) that is not correctly declared on the ingredients label.
A small number of Merchant Gourmet Red & White Quinoa 250g pouches in Tesco stores and Tesco.com have been filled with Merchant Gourmet Smoky Spanish-style Grains & Rice. No other Merchant Gourmet products are affected.
The product is therefore unsuitable for and should be avoided by anyone with an allergy or intolerance to barley (gluten) and/or wheat (gluten).
If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to barley (gluten) and/or wheat (gluten), do not eat it. Instead, please return it to the store for a full refund.
