My name is Jade, and I started working with Allergy UK incorporating Anaphylaxis UK as a Volunteer Support Group Facilitators in 2025.
In my day job, I have worked in mental health services and research in the NHS since 2014, and I will soon be starting training as a Clinical Psychologist.
I am a mum to two amazing daughters, both of whom were diagnosed with multiple allergies as babies, and my youngest has since developed anaphylactic allergies.
I joined Allergy UK incorporating Anaphylaxis UK as I felt emotional support for people living with allergies was lacking in my area, and I wanted to be part of changing this for families like mine who are living with allergies. In my rare spare time, I enjoy running, reading and Sunday adventures with my family!
