Hi, I’m Sam and live in Cottingham, East Yorkshire. I’m a mum to two daughters who both have serious food allergies and carry adrenaline auto-injectors everywhere they go. My husband has also recently been diagnosed with food allergies and now carries adrenaline auto-injectors too. Living in a household where allergies affect the whole family has given me first-hand experience of the challenges, anxiety and constant vigilance that come with managing allergies every day.
At our Allergy Support Group expect friendly, informal conversations with people who understand the challenges of living with serious food allergies. There is no pressure to speak, you’re welcome simply to listen. Most importantly, it’s a safe space where people can talk openly and feel truly understood.
