Ready, set, fundraise!

Once you have your fundraising idea and set a date, the next step is to…

  • Think about how to fundraise

A few options for you to consider:

    • Set up an online fundraising page, using a trusted site like Enthuse, for sponsorship and share the link with loved ones. You can also share the link in work or school e-newsletters or in social media posts to promote your fundraiser. Here’s some tips about setting up a fundraising page
    • You could use the reliable sponsorship form to pop in pupils’ schoolbags, or to pin in the office kitchen to collect cash donations
    • For schools, collect the pounds and pennies onsite, bank the final total into the school’s account, and then transfer the money to our bank account or send in a cheque of the same value
  • Ready, set, fundraise!

It’s time to start raising money! Here are some tips to help get you started:

    • Download our fundraising resources below to help raise those pounds and pennies
    • Before you share your online fundraising page, ask someone close to you if they will be the first to make a donation
    • Social media is your friend when it comes to promoting your fundraising activity to your network and sharing your online fundraising page (please ask for permission when sharing images of children)
    • Don’t forget to spread the word via LinkedIn, your company’s social media channels, the Intranet, your email signature etc
  • Wear it bright

We have some (bright!) orange Anaphylaxis UK t-shirts for you to wear during any training sessions and for the big day/week.

Get in touch with the Fundraising team with your requirements.

  • Say cheese!

We would love to see what you’re up to, so please do snap away and take lots of photos and videos of your fundraising experience! Remember, please ask for permission when featuring children.

Email the Fundraising team or tag us on social media (@AnaphylaxisUK)

  • #SocialMedia

Use social media to share your fundraising challenge and link to your Enthuse fundraising page. Please ask for permission from your employer if you want to share on a company account, or gain parental consent if you are a school.

Remember to tag Anaphylaxis UK in any social media posts promoting your challenge! We can re-post to our followers – you never know, they may generously support you with a donation and inspire their own challenge.

Thank you so much for your enthusiasm and commitment to raise vital funds for Anaphylaxis UK. There are a few ways you can pay in the money raised:

    • Fundraising Page: If you have set up a fundraising page with JustGiving, Enthuse or another platform, there’s nothing further you need to do. The money raised online will be transferred safely and directly to Anaphylaxis UK
    • Online: Pay in your fundraising money via our donation page. Don’t forget to add a note in the comments box with the reference AAW24 so we can keep an eye out for your funds
    • Bank Transfer: Please email finance@anaphylaxis.org.uk to request our bank details, so that the money you’ve worked so hard for can be safely transferred from your account to ours
    • Post: For any cash donations you receive, please bank the money yourself and send a cheque made payable to ‘Anaphylaxis UK’, for the same amount, along with your details. Send to: Anaphylaxis UK, 1 Alexandra Road, Farnborough, GU14 6BU
