Promoting your fundraising page

Once you have set up and personalised your page, you can start raising money! Here are some tips to help get you started:

Be the first

Before you share your page, ask someone close to you if they will be the first to make a donation. Generous, if possible, to inspire others to be just as kind-hearted

Link it

Send a link of your fundraising page to your email contact list and ask for support

#SocialMedia

Post the link on your social media channels and regularly e.g. pay day, during a work day lunch hour, after a training session, the day before your fundraiser

Opportunities at work

Think about the opportunities at your workplace – is there an intranet to post a link to your page? What about linking to your email signature? Don’t forget to share on LinkedIn to tell your wider network

It's not over after the big day!

Nearly 20% of donations come in after the event, so remember to update your page with your achievements and ask one final time for donations
