Running the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2025...

Oliver Hallam

Oliver knows from personal experience the daily impact and challenges faced living with a serious allergy. Growing up, he often felt ostracised for something he couldn’t help, and came across people who seemed to think his allergy to peanuts was a choice. Those experiences shaped Oliver as a child and young adult, which had an impact on his mental health. Thank you for running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for us and good luck with your goal of achieving a PB!

Emily Brettle

First time half marathon runner Emily is excited to join our team! As a mum to a (now adult) child with a serious nut allergy, Anaphylaxis UK has been by the family’s side over the years. From support and reassurance over the phone, to trusted advice when travelling and eating abroad. Thanks for doing this for us and good luck, Emily!

Evelyn O'Sullivan

Meet Evelyn, a first-time half marathon runner! Over the years, Evelyn has developed strategies to ensure her allergies don’t hold her back – and with Anaphylaxis UK by her side to provide reassurance and valuable guidance, when needed. Now at university and surrounded by supportive and caring friends, Evelyn is thriving and living as normal a life as possible. Good luck, Evelyn!

Sam Durham

Good luck to first-time half marathon runner, Sam! Sam has a nut allergy and Anaphylaxis UK’s allergy alerts are so helpful. He’s chosen to support Anaphylaxis UK to increase awareness and help to create a brighter future for others living with a serious allergy. Thank you Sam and enjoy race day!

Isabel Highsted

As an active person, having exercise-induced anaphylaxis is “quite daunting” for Isabel. By proudly running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Anaphylaxis UK, Isabel is starting the conversation about serious allergies and raising awareness of the charity to help more people on their own allergy journey access our services. Thank you, Isabel!

CG

One mum is on a poignant mission to raise money and awareness for an important charity to her family. CG’s son has food allergies and turned to Anaphylaxis UK’s website for trusted resources when navigating their weaning journey. Life is a little easier these days, but the stress surrounding allergies was overwhelming at times for the family. Good luck with your first half marathon and thank you for everything you’re doing!

Sue Connolly

Sue is running for her grandson, who has a serious allergy. At such a young age, Sue is proud of how he’s managing his allergy, knowing what he can and cannot eat, and checking the ingredient list alongside his parents. Sue, we wish you the very best with your first half marathon and raising important awareness of serious allergies and Anaphylaxis UK. Thank you!

Sean Carney

Living with a serious allergy has severely limited Sean’s (now 6 year old) daughter’s ability to enjoy many of the things her allergy-free older sister enjoys. Birthday parties are a particular challenge where Tessa almost always needs to be excluded from much of the celebrations. Sean is proudly running for Anaphylaxis UK to support our services and ensure further progress is made to help create a brighter and safer future for Tessa and others living with a serious allergy. Good luck with your first half marathon, Sean!

Running the Brighton Marathon 2025...

Rich Laishley

Rich has a peanut allergy and has been to hospital twice from an anaphylactic reaction aged just 18 months old and again at 15 years old. Anaphylaxis UK (then The Anaphylaxis Campaign) provided trusted and reassuring support to his parents when he was a toddler, and Rich’s mum has kindly donated to the charity for the last 30 years. Rich is passionate about helping future generations and will be proudly running for Anaphylaxis UK at the Brighton Marathon. Thank you and best of luck!

Running the TCS London Marathon 2025...

The Dobson Family

On 1st November 2021, Joe died from anaphylaxis while on holiday in Mexico living the dream. He was just 19 years old. We are honoured that the whole family – Sarah, Lee and sister Liv – are proudly running the famous 26.2 miles for Anaphylaxis UK. “As a grieving family we are lost. However, there is something we can do to help prevent another family experiencing the world changing loss that we have suffered…by raising money and awareness for a charity of great importance to us”. Huge thank you and best wishes to the Dobson family.

Rowan Baxendale

We’re touched that Rowan is running for Anaphylaxis UK in loving memory of his younger sister, Órla, who tragically passed away last year at the young age of 25 from anaphylaxis caused by mislabelled food. Her unexpected passing has inspired Rowan to take action to help prevent other families from experiencing similar heartache. Rowan, thank you for all that you are doing to support our work and help create a brighter future for people living with serious allergies. Good luck!

Ozzy Ashraf

Ozzy has a serious egg and nut allergy and knows from personal experience the daily impact and challenges faced when living at risk of anaphylaxis. By running the London Marathon for Anaphylaxis UK, he is starting the conversation about serious allergies with the people around him and raising awareness of the charity to help more people on their own allergy journey live safely and confidently. Go Ozzy!

Christian Hopkins

Christian will be running the streets of London for Anaphylaxis UK and his daughter, who has serious allergies to peanuts and honey. Proud to be part of #TeamAnaphylaxisUK, Christian wants to raise as much awareness and money as he can to contribute to our charity work and help others on an allergy journey. Good luck, Christian!

Olly Panchaud

For Olly, managing a serious peanut allergy is a constant worry and means relying on others to be considerate and keep him safe. He’s lucky to have very supportive loved ones to help manage his allergy, and is running his first ever marathon to raise important awareness and funds for Anaphylaxis UK; a charity Olly has trusted and turned to since 2011. Thank you and good luck, Olly!

Sofia Hardiker

Sofia is running for her older sister, Gemma, who has a serious peanut and tree nut allergy. Seeing the daily challenges people at risk of anaphylaxis face has been eye-opening for Sofia and ignited her passion to begin a career in the food industry, specifically in food safety and allergen management within a food retailer. Sofia’s aim is to spread awareness of anaphylaxis and to make food safe for everyone with a food allergy. Huge thanks for everything you’re doing, Sofia! Good luck on the big day.

Robbie Epsom

Living with life-threatening tree nut allergies since age 5, and now with his young son also affected, Robbie understands the daily challenges and how it impacts every aspect of life. He’s determined to make a difference to drive change and raise awareness. Running the London Marathon has always been a dream for Robbie, but running it for Anaphylaxis UK makes it truly meaningful. Plus, turning 40 in 2025 makes it extra special! Huge thanks and good luck, Robbie!

Alex Notley

Good luck to Alex running his first marathon! Alex has a serious nut allergy and his parents turned to Anaphylaxis UK to help manage his allergy as a child. The support helped reduce the stress to his family, and gave them the tools to empower Alex as he grew up. Well done and thank you with everything you have achieved so far on your marathon journey and see you on race day!

Chris Newell

Chris has been flying the Anaphylaxis UK flag in two international marathons…and he’s halfway through his mega marathon challenge! Chris will be taking on his third marathon in Boston next month, and then it’s onto “The Big Apple” for the New York Marathon in November. It’s all for his youngest son, who has a serious peanut allergy. Amazing – thank you so much Chris and keep going!
