This course is suitable for people who are responsible for caring for others, whether adults or children, who may have serious allergies. The course includes causes of allergic reactions, signs of anaphylaxis, treating anaphylaxis, the importance of allergen avoidance and the risks that might be posed by allergies in a care setting.

The course takes approximately 1-1.5 hours to complete. Users can complete it all at once or log in and out to complete at their own pace. The course includes a downloadable digital certificate of completion.
