Dr. William Frankland MBE, Honorary President of the Anaphylaxis Campaign, celebrates 108th birthday

The Anaphylaxis Campaign would like to wish its Honorary President, Dr. William Frankland MBE, a very happy 108th birthday.
Throughout his life, Dr. Frankland has worked to improve the lives of others and for more than 50 years, he has been a pioneer for allergy research.
Known for his many achievements including bringing the pollen count to public attention and working as an assistant to Alexander Fleming, who famously discovered penicillin, Dr. Frankland has helped to raise the profile of allergy and spearhead research into new treatments.
The Anaphylaxis Campaign is proud to have had Dr. Frankland’s support since it was founded in 1994.
Lynne Regent, Chief Executive Officer of the Anaphylaxis Campaign said:
“I have visited Dr. Frankland recently and was delighted to see that he was well and as interested as ever in everything currently taking place in the world of allergy. It is wonderful that Dr. Frankland ( Bill) is celebrating his 108th birthday. Dr. Frankland is a very important member of the Campaign. he has been instrumental in enabling clinicians and society to understand different types of allergies and treatments.”
