At Anaphylaxis UK, our focus for 30 years has always been on providing information and support to help create a brighter and more informed future for those living with serious allergies.
Throughout our 30 year history, the way we have provided this support and information has continued to evolve and grow. Over the years we have provided credible information through PIF accredited factsheets, our monthly newsletter programmes, CPD accredited AllergyWise training courses and a wealth of other handy resources and guides on our website. But why stop there?
We’re always looking for new ways to share our resources… with that in mind, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of our new audio podcast channel ‘Let’s Talk About Allergies’ where we explore all aspects of allergies with leading experts in the field. Each episode is designed to raise awareness about anaphylaxis, address common patient concerns and explore the realities of living with allergies. And the best bit? You can listen to these episodes whenever and wherever suits you best… walking the dog, doing the housework, on your lunch break at work, out running… you can listen to our podcast on your mobile phone wherever you are!
‘Let’s Talk About Allergies’ is launching this week with the first episode in our Bee and Wasp Venom Awareness podcast series.
We’re kicking off this podcast series by revisiting last year’s compelling interview with our Chief Executive, Simon Williams, and venom allergy expert, Dr. Andrew Whyte. Dr. Whyte, a renowned specialist at the Department of Allergy and Immunology at Derriford Hospital, offers his expertise on allergy testing, immunotherapy, and the critical importance of emergency response.
Whether you’re looking to enhance your understanding of venom allergies or seeking to provide your patients with valuable information, this episode is a must-listen.
We’d love to hear from you! If there’s a topic you’d like us to cover or if you’re interested in being a guest, don’t hesitate to reach out at info@anaphylaxis.org.uk And if you like what we’re covering on our channel then don’t forget to subscribe on Spotify, Apple Music or Amazon Music and join our growing community – let’s talk about allergies together!
As we look to the next 30 years at Anaphylaxis UK, we remain committed to providing the right information and knowledge, to build a strong, informed community where individuals with allergies can feel empowered and less alone.
