This review entitled “Innovations in the treatment of anaphylaxis: A review of recent data” explores innovative nasal and oral products under investigation for the outpatient emergency treatment of anaphylaxis.
Adrenaline auto-injectors (AAIs) are the current standard of first-line treatment for anaphylaxis, however, undercarriage and underuse of AAIs are common, and delayed use is associated with increased morbidity and mortality.
