Statement regarding the death of Jess Prinsloo

We are deeply saddened to learn of the tragic death of Jess Prinsloo, aged 24, who died on 31st December 2022 while on holiday in South Africa.
It is reported that Jess possibly died after coming into contact with dairy. Jess was known to have a serious dairy allergy and carried two adrenaline auto-injectors.
Her death occurred just days after celebrating her and her fiancé Craig McKinnon’s engagement. A GoFundMe page has been created to help with hospital and funeral costs for Jess.
Simon Williams, Chief Executive of Anaphylaxis UK, says:
“Jess’s death is incredibly tragic and our thoughts are with her fiancé Craig and her family and friends. We would like to offer them our support should they wish to get in touch.”
