Anaphylaxis UK is proud to be recognising our 30th anniversary this year… Three decades of unwavering support.
Back in 1994 Anaphylaxis UK (formerly known as Anaphylaxis Campaign) was set up with the principle objectives of preventing deaths from food-induced anaphylaxis and improving the quality of life for those living with serious allergies. All with the overriding message that we are here to provide support so that no one feels alone on this journey. We have gone through many changes over the years, adapting all the time. But 30 years on, our objective remains the same as it was back in 1994… to help those with severe allergies live their lives safely.
Over the past 30 years we have been hugely inspired by your stories – stories that show strength, resilience and determination as you navigate yours and your family’s allergy journeys. So to mark our 30th anniversary, we’re launching our ’30 Reasons’ anniversary campaign to showcase the people and stories that motivate us to do what we do here at Anaphylaxis UK.
To kick off our 30 stories it seems only right, to go back to the very reason Anaphylaxis UK was set up way back in 1994. Read the first of our ’30 Reasons’ to find out how a tragic event motivated David Reading, to create the charity you know today.
Look out for more inspiring ’30 Reasons’ stories being shared throughout the year. In the meantime, we’d like to say thank you for your support and loyalty to Anaphylaxis UK; whether you’ve been with us from day one or found us last year. Everything we do is because of you and for you.
Together, we will create a brighter future.
